By contributing to this effort, the scientists, students, and amateur astronomers
who are participants in the GTN become vested partners in the GLAST mission.
Participants will gain significant experience with advanced research techniques
that can be applied in other areas of astronomical research, and in other areas
of scientific research in general.

Once you have completed the online application for participation in the GTN and have been contacted by a member
of the GTN team, you should be prepared to provide the technical specifications
for your telescope and CCD camera, indicate your category of participation,
and provide an estimate of how many images you expect to submit to the GTN Archive
in a year. You may be asked to submit an image taken with your instrumentation
of one of the GTN-AGN fields.
