Communication Systems for the GTN
The GTN provides several means for
- communication among GTN
participants
- releasing breaking news
- asking questions and getting
advice
- publishing results of scientific and
instructional activities
The
mailing lists are moderated by GTN staff. Participants may choose to
be removed from the mailing lists at any time. To be removed from this list at any time please email Dr. Mclin.
Mailing Lists
Both of the GTN mailing lists are moderated lists so the traffic
is expected to be light and focused on matters of interest to GTN
participants. Both lists are archived so past mailings may be
searched and reviewed.
GTN-announce
This list is intended for announcements related to the GTN.
Announcements may include news related to the various NASA
missions supported by the GTN. Announcements may also include
scientific results related to the types of objects monitored by
the GTN. Announcements may also be related to relevant conferences
or meetings, as well as material, related to instructional
pedagogy. Announcements of special observational campaigns
organized or supported by the GTN will also be made to this list.
Any GTN participant may use this list to make announcements of
interest to the GTN.
GTN participants are automatically added to this list when they
join the GTN. This list is moderated by GTN staff. Participants
may choose to be removed from this list at any time.
