GLAST will conduct a one-year all sky survey to higher resolution and better sensitivity than previous surveys. GLAST will also be capable of obtaining pointed observations. It is expected that GLAST will detect and document several thousand new blazars. GLAST also has burst detectors with sensitivity comparable to those of Swift.
